Dilip Kumar - the living legend - has given us many memorable films like Mughal-E-Azam, Ram Aur Shyam and Naya Daur. With his excellence in acting, Kumar has made a special place in our hearts. But, he has been in headlines for his health. He hasn't been keeping that well.
Yesterday, Dilip ji took to Twitter and gave a little sneak peek about his health to his fans. He wrote, "God's grace and your prayers with me. I am much better. Slight discomfort and an irritating back pain."
He was also honored with with a lifetime achievement award from Punjab Association. He thanked them via Twitter and wrote, "God is kind. Humbled at receiving the Living Legend Lifetime Award from Punjab Association this afternoon."
With the post, he also uploaded the pictures of him receiving the award. Kumar also said thanks to artist Asid Farooqui who has painted a wall mural for him. He tweeted, "So much love from Asif Farooqui. Thank you for this beautiful wall mural on Hill Road in Bandra. God bless you."
Dilip Kumar's wife Saira Banu has always been by his side. Just a few days back, Saira Banu took to his Twitter account and confirmed that he is doing well. In a series of tweets, she wrote, "By the grace of God, Dilip Sahab is at home and doing well. God has been very kind. Sahab believes that to be surrounded by family and friends who love him unconditionally is therapy by itself. Sahab is blessed with the prayers and love of his millions of fans, admirers, friends and well wishers. Dilip Sahab himself will be back on twitter soon, Insha'Allah."
Last year, around April, he had been hospitalised for nearly a week due to respiratory problems, but now it seems that he's doing fine.
