Firing Incident at Pakistan's Lahore International Airport, 2 Shot Dead
New Delhi: Firing incident took place in the premises of the international airport of Lahore, Pakistan on Wednesday in which two persons got killed.
The Airport Security Force reported Xinhua news agency that a person opened fire with a pistol targeted at two people in the international arrival lounge of the Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore.
Two people involved in the firing were arrested by the airport police. The police said that the firing incident took place due to the personal enmity.
According to the reports, Both deceased persons were involved in a murder case of a political leader and the police were investigating them.
Police added that both the suspects reached the airport by taxi. The incident was eventually a result of personal grudges.
To secure the premises, a heavy contingent of police reached the airport and the entry of vehicles at the airport was barred as a precaution.
