Japan welcomes PM Modi for G20 summit 2019.

On Thursday Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Osaka, Japan for G20 summit which being held on 28-29 june. In this time he will also attend prominent plurilateral meetings and meet with so many Leaders from different countries including President of USA Donald trump.

On his departure, he made a statement that big issues such as digitilasation, AI(Artificial Intelligence), women empowerment, progress in achieving SDGs and some common efforts to address grand challenges like spreading terrorism will be very crucial in his agenda. He will also elaborate on many issues of global importance and present india's viewpoint.

This will be the sixth G-20 summit for Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Modi said this summit will also provide a special and important opportunity to get together their powers to reinforce our help and support to regenerate multilateralism, which is important for preserving rule based international order today's fast paced growing world.

PM modi will be holding 10 crucial bilateral meetings on the side line of summit with Donald trump,Chinese president XI jinping and Russian president vladmir putin.

PM modi will be in Osaka for three days. Upon his arrival pm modi was greeted by the indian community at the swissotel nankai,where he was welcomed with of 'Modi , Modi'.

According to White house Modi and Donald trump will hold Bilateral meeting on 28 june. This will be the third engagement of Donald trump on Friday. Meeting would start with Japanese Prime minister Shinzo Abe at 8.30 am local time. Thereafter, Modi would join abe and trump for tri- bilateral meeting at 9.15 am local time.

Statement by PM Modi, " the Osaka summit will also be an crucial step for india toward hosting the next G20 summit in 2022 in our country INDIA. When we look forward to new india in the 75th Anniversary of our independence.

He also said that he's looking forward to host the next Russia,india and china (RIC) informal summit on the other side and also a to be part of next informal meeting of brics (Brazil,Russia, india, china and south Africa) and JAI ( japan, America and india) leaders.

Before the arrival of G20 summit , on Wednesday 26 june narendra modi met US seceratary of state MIKE POMPEO and discussed some major issues,including India's defence deal with Russia.
