CM of Maharashtra, Devendra Fadnavis has taken these incidents seriously and in State Assembly he mentioned that a high-level investigation into incident will take place and around Rs.5 lakh ex-gratia to the family members of the victims. This is not the first incident which has taken place after the monmsoon striuked Maharastra but many incidents already have been reported and Govt. is taking charge of all incidets but the best is Precautions are Better Than Cure that means govt. should alert and prepared with a survey of local and weak walls which could fall in the season of rain which causes a high damage to the residents.
