Noida Police Concerns For Women Safety: Launches Red Card

Anti-Romeo Squad back in Noida and Greater Noida

Adityanath Yogi took charge of Uttar Pradesh in year 2017 soon after which Anti-Romeo Squad was launched for the women safety. Again in 2019 Yogi is back with new rules for his state regarding women safety and eve-teasing.

According to this new rule a RED CARD is being made which is having columns for the name of the person who is found guilty along with his parent name and his address as well. This card will play a role as a warning and if the persons repeats such an activity he will be punished against remarkable charges.

Senior officers of the Noida Police recently held a meeting with the Anti-Romeo squads formed in all the police stations. The teams were told to make sure that all girls and women feel safe on the streets or while going to any place.

According to the police some specific places are marked where the squad will be highly alert. Some place are metro stations, bus stands and many public places.

This initiative is given so that the girls and wNew omen feel safe while travelling and doing their work comfortably and securely.
